Jay Allen, controversial owner of the worlds biggest biker bar, the Broken Spoke Saloon, has new digs outside the city limits of Sturgis, S.D. With the growing attitude of no leniency by the local law enforcement, people were losing their taste for town. So Jay kept the classic Broken Spoke in downtown Sturgis, but decided to build his own Dodge City just outside the reach of the law. So now you can walk around with an icy one in your hand and not get rousted.
Jay has put in some cool stuff including a huge 45,000 sq. ft. Broken Spoke Saloon and Museum and a huge campground. You can literally ride your bike through this huge bar! It will be home to free concert series, cheap beers, hot contests and the best barmaids in the Black Hills! There's no reason to leave.
Check out Limpnickie Lot. Watch the builders of tomorrow create some of the coolest custom bikes! Fueled by a young new attitude of how custom culture is supposed to be, the Limpnickie Crew is back to do it again at The Broken Spoke Campground.
But the coolest thing of all is an enormous 5,000 sq. ft. swimming pool complete with jacuzzis, bars, music and of course some smokin women. It's an nexpected oasis and an amazing way to chill after the hot August sun has baked you all day.
Going to Sturgis is always a trip into a fantasy world, where anyone can be anybody for a week. Jay has made the fantasy even better. See you there.
