John Butler played the best version of Ocean I've ever heard. So my question. With all of these sites having access to the sound files is there any way/ point in time they will be released? I check every site I know daily and nothing yet. Cheers and GREAT festival

Well whatever...The Dead and Dylan may have not streamed, but I was there and there were plenty of people in the crowd recording the show. We will get bootlegs.

The Dead now have Warren Haynes, who rules what gets out into the public with an iron fist. You can bet that the set will be available at mule.net eventually, for a price. That's just the way Warren is. He is in control. I'm sure the other members didn't like it but what can they do?

My 18-year-old son and a group of his friends are there. I am really enjoying the little glimpse I am getting of the concerts. I fell in LOVE with String Cheese Incident after I saw their set and told my son when he called I need to get some of their music. Thanks for letting me see a little bit of what is happening.

I got 34 years in there, smiley dave. Just very dissappointed. If management is the problem, as you have mentioned, then it seems to be something that started since the passing of Jerry Garcia. The Grateful Dead I respected, because they were as grateful for use as we were for them. But not, the dead, nor their management. Remember when you could go to a show and record the whole thing with a boom mic sticking up 15ft above your head, no questions asked? Bootlegs were what they were called, but they were not. Video, audio and photos, it was an open invitation to share. The Legend, purpose, vision has been lost and this is proof.

Rock the Bells? No, but it sounds cool. This year we're streaming the Mile High Music Fest, All Points West, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits. Looking forward to them all. Sign up for announcements on the stream page and we'll send you all the details. We may even have tickets to give away. :)

Yes, and no. They're at ROTHBURY, but will not be streamed. Bands being streamed had to agree to it and Dylan, the Dead, and a few others did not agree to the live (or even the delayed) stream. Bummer, we know. But we hope you do enjoy what we're able to bring you. I've watched a lot of it myself and it really is killer. Great fun. A window into something I wasn't able to attend in person.
