Rothbury Interview
Ralston Bowles Represents the MI
There's no question that Ralston Bowles should have been at the ROTHBURY Music Festival. But, like any grass roots candidate, it took a write-in campaign to get him in. Once there, Bowles rocked the Odeum stage with his pure-Americana folk rock. And Michigan loved it.
Singer-songwriter Bowles was at ROTHBURY in part to represent Michigan, and in part to tour his new album, Carwreck Conversations - an album dark as a Michigan winter, blue as a late-night sky. But he's the songwriter, so here's a line: "Better call the wrecker, baby, there's been an accident." It's good like that.
So we're glad the locals had their way, and that Bowles was given the opportunity to play the best little fest to ever hit the Double JJ.
