The Northern Way Gets Radio Play
The Mile High Music Festival cast a spotlight on local Colorado bands in a way that no other summer fest has. There was so much local talent at Mile High - from headliners Widespread Panic, festival mainstays Big Head Todd and the Monsters and local breakouts like 3Oh!3 - that the fest felt like a who's-who of Colorado music.
Another local band getting attention at Mile High was The Northern Way.
The Northern Way may just be be the next band to break out of the crowded Colorado music scene. Their poppy, catchy, dare we say boy-band, sensibility could break them into the pop mainstream as soon as one of their catchy hooks lands on Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill. Until then, the band seems happy with the constant airplay of their single "Crazy" on local Colorado radio and big gigs like the Mile High Fest.
Local fans can catch them, well, locally. Fans elsewhere are limited to their 4-track EP, and their smattering of clips on YouTube. For now.
