Honey Honey is Sweet

Multi-talented duo Honey Honey blends their upbeat instrumentals and interesting lyrics with the appealing vocals of Suzanne Santo for a strong, vibrant, highly-listenable sound. Their songs are fun and serious, melancholic and hopeful all at the same time.

It's conflict that drives their best, most energetic songs - "Little Toy Gun" and "Give Yourself to Me." But it's the band's commitment to the moods their songs conjure that makes every song work. They're actors after all - they know what it takes to elicit feeling from an audience. They also know a little bit about narrative, which is what makes their songs so fun to listen to. Their songs are stories with a terrific soundtrack.

The third band on Jude Cole and Kiefer Sutherland's indie rock label, Ironworks, Honey Honey hasn't quite broken out yet. But if they can keep their other projects at bay long enough to stick together, we have no doubt that you'll be hearing a lot more from this little SoCal band. (Or at least, we hope so.)
