Seeing the World Through Kevens' Eyes

Kevens' music is inspired by his experiences and observations of the world around him. He is well known for his drum 'n' bass, mixed with a funky, progressive, rocking Reggae style and writes his own music and lyrics.

Kevens got his start as a performer when he formed the progressive reggae group Le Coup with Bob Marley's half brothers Richard and Anthony. He was greatly influenced by Cedella Booker Marley who inspired him to write songs with a purpose.

His spiritual message of positivity has become the center of his art and life. He tells us his main goal in his music is to deliver a positive message while bringing all races and cultures together. He says ever since being a child he has felt music beating deep inside him. He hopes to reflect the message of peace, respect, love and understanding during his stay at Ultra. Currently, Kevens is in the studio working on his first full-length album. You can check out his song "Freedom" on the Ultra Dance Music Film Festival DVD.
