Brett Dennen Inspires

Brett Dennen might be a dead-ringer for Ziggy Stardust, but he's the just about antithesis of a glam rocker as anyone could be. And he's pretty proud of that. One of the most down-to-earn "rock stars" we've ever met, Dennen just does his thing – writing and singing gloriously positive folk music to anyone who will listen.

Lately, there are a lot of people listening. Dennen has toured heavily by himself and with the likes of Guster, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Mika, and John Mayer, among others. His most recently album, Hope for the Hopeless, debuted at 41 on the Billboard 200 – a huge accomplishment for anyone, much less a folk singer.

True to his genre, Dennen sings about social issues and promotes (and works with) organizations that that strive to make the world a better place. Dennen works very closely with The Mosaic Project, which strives to educate and empower children in order to create a more peaceful world. You can hear the values of The Moasic Project in Dennen's music, which is a good thing. Through his music, Dennen is inspiring us all.
