White Lies Tells the Truth

Credit White Lies for bringing back dark indie-pop music and the keytar. (Well, dark indie pop never went anywhere, but the keytar...that's just bold.) The London-based band plays music reminiscent of The Cure (or, perhaps more accurately, a Cure-Interpol mashup) and they play it before eager young fans.

They've been on tour a lot lately, pushing their new album, the cheerily titled To Lose My Life. But how else would you memorize the name of every country on the planet? The band says touring is boring, so lets hope they're able to get their creative juices flowing when they get back home enough to write some songs because we're looking forward to a followup for To Lose My Life. Reincarnation?
