L.A.X. Sings to the Beats

L.A.X. is a bit hard to pin down, genre-wise. There is definitely an electro/house element but also a pop element, and definitely an R&B element to their music. Credit this to the band's three singers (interviewed above). All told, there are six members of the Austin, Texas band, which might be a reason for the all-over-the-place sound.

L.A.X. is new to the festival scene, and playing at ACL was pretty darned big for them, but you can catch them next at Austn's Fun, Fun, Fun festival and get in on the genre-bending, hip-swaying, head-bopping good time.
