Ultra Loves Guetta

Once the Black Eyed Peas ended their impressive reunion set, plenty of people stuck it out over by the Main Stage for one of this year's hottest DJs. Even though David Guetta is 41, he somehow manages to keep things clean, fresh and popular, which is why he's done so well in America's mainstream this year. French-born Guetta has been cranking out his Electro/House boogie since his early teens, and after 30 years of mixing tracks, he released 2007's "Love Is Gone," which hit it big time in the U.S. throughout '08 and all over the globe.

Bringing his sassy, yet loveable grooves over to Ultra Friday night, music heads gave up their Indie love for a quick half hour, where Guetta dominated the massive swarm, dancing to his beats. As everyone had hoped, he didn't skimp out on "Love Is Gone," and to be honest, it felt like he could have kept it going strong all night. Remixing the track with Estelle's "American Girl" was a fest amplifier and notable highlight. Just when you thought the love really was gone, Guetta would take your right back to the first set of beats. Remix and repeat, just how we like it.
