Ultra Party Crew - Leave All Your Judgment at the Door
The Ultra Music Festival is more than a concert it's a place where the strange become normal, the bizarre get encouraged and the weird is accepted. During its eleven years of being up and running, it has become a celebration of music attracting large international crowds, sideshow attractions and a cool bunch of freaks.
With 50,000 people, attending Friday and 60,000 people attending on Saturday Bicentennial Park became a playground for a subculture of club kids that breathe and live electronic music. For these ravers the techno and house beats have become more than music, it has become a life style. For many, if not most, this experience of music provides a chance to celebrate individuality – infused with psychedelic accessories, multi-colored hair extensions, extremely bright fluorescent clothing, gas masks, fuzzy leg warmers, platforms, pacifiers and glowsticks. This interesting crowd came to downtown Miami's oceanfront at Bicentennial Park with only one goal in mind and that was to party. You can be sure that the mission was accomplished, part thanks to The Ultra Party Crew, a group of dancers that attend Ultra every year and make sure to keep the party going all night long. They are the perfect example of what this generation of ravers represents.
