You can find DeadMau5 lurking around his musical laboratory coming up with unique beats. This Canadian DJ and producer is unlike any other, creating original mixes and never reusing beats or songs that were not produced by him.

Deadmau5 was named one of the best producers in 2008 by Beatport Magazine. In the same year, he became the most-selling artist on Beatport with more than 30,000 digital downloads with his singles "Not Exactly," "Faxing Berlin," and "Ghosts N Stuff.¨ He became the most awarded DJ/producer/remixer of the Beatport Music Awards. He was named "Most influential, forward-thinking and relevant person" by Beatport. He also placed number 11 in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll in 2006, tying with Infected Mushroom for the highest new entry in the poll's history.

The progressive electro house producer is changing the face of live DJ performances with a spellbinding set complete with a giant tailor made mouse head and visual effects on stage. His fans are put into a frenzy not only by the powerful set of visuals but by the sound of his music which transcends various genres flirting with technical and minimal whilst hinting at trance and electro.

The past year has been nothing short of phenomenal for Deadmau5. When we asked him if he could do it again this year, he said it was hard to keep track of things. But as impossible as it may seem, things will live long for this dead mouse.
